Cognex MVS-8100C
Hardware
This chapter describes the Cognex MVS-8100C image acquisition board that can be
used with Cognex 8000 series software.
The MVS-8100C is a 32-bit PCI bus frame grabber that fits into a single slot in your PC.
The 8100C can:
• Acquire images from monochrome or color cameras
• Support up to four monochrome camera inputs, or up to two color camera inputs
• Transfer acquired images over the PCI bus to memory on the host PC
Table 10 summarizes the capabilities of the MVS-8100C. More detail about each feature
is provided later in this chapter.
